My name is Zach, I'm a senior English and American Lit major at NYU, and I'm a literary snob.
I love books--physical, ink-and-paper, page-turning books. My apartment is littered with them--so much so, that I've had to become creative with where I can store them. I love to read, and I also keep very up to date on technology and technological advances--so naturally I've been watching this e-book revolution very closely.
In this blog I'll be discussing articles, issues, opinions (not just my own) and other various aspects of e-books and e-book reader technology. This is for a class I'm taking in my final year at NYU, so unless I fall crazy in love with blogging, I'll probably stop sometime in December. This being said, aside from discussing e-book articles and tech, as a side project, by the end of the semester, I'm going to decide whether I want to take the dive myself and buy an e-book reader. Should I arrive at that decision before the class is over, expect to hear about my own experiences with whatever e-book reader my research has pointed me to.
So, that's what y'all have to look forward to: a blog covering various aspects of e-books and the inkless revolution taking place right now, as well as a 21 year old read-a-holic's own plunge into the e-book world.
Cheers,
Zach
