The original BeBook ereader was something I looked into when I did some preliminary research on the devices, and it really didn't stand out in a crowd. Limited software support, no over the air downloads, and frankly an ugly device really dragged it down. Now with the 5-inch version of the same ereader, it looks a liiiittle more interesting...had it not been released on the heels of the announcement that Amazon would be lowering the price of its 6-in Kindle reader.
For the extra cash, I'd take a Kindle over this thing any day.
