Check out the Gizmodo article on solar powered eReaders here.
One of my favorite things to do on a nice day (few and far between in New York City) is to sit outside at the park or on my roof with a nice book. Quite a few ebook readers boast their readability outside in the sunlight--however LG has taken this one step further: a solar-powered ebook reader.
Reading outside for four or five hours charges the device for a full day's use. Should you be a tad agoraphobic, you can read inside powered by the internal battery.
Too bad the ereader doesn't look like it packs too many other ground-shaking features. Cool and goes with the green movement, but I'll pass.
Cheers,
Zach
